PROGRAM
Bringing you
A Much-Anticipated
Second Edition
Last year, we had the privilege to launch the First Montréal Conference on Focal Therapy for Prostate Cancer. The outcome proves the need to share the most recent information on this groundbreaking field. We received incredible support from the industry and participants were thrilled by the quality of the two-day program we had put together. We are therefore already at work on the second edition and hope that you will join us in supporting this event.
Focal therapy for localized prostate cancer is a rising field to which everyone is attracted, from patients to physicians. As we are facing more localized prostate cancer in a younger male population, the concept of wholegland treatment is now debatable. The objectives of curability and optimal quality of life are, more than ever, a priority.
There are however some concerns. Plurifocality of the disease, exact location of the disease within the gland, prognosis of tumor loci in the same gland, optimal ablative treatment option, safe follow-up and relapse management options are a few of the questions raised by the focal treatment for prostate cancer.
The Second Montréal Conference on Focal Therapy for Prostate Cancer brings together international experts with up-to-date views on this new field. They will share the most recent information on prostate imaging, prognostic and diagnostic tools, actual and future therapeutic possibilities, ongoing research projects, from clinical, transversal to fundamental research.
The two-day conference will include state-of-the-art and didactic lectures, debate between experts in challenging questions, and panel discussions along with podium and poster presentations.
In addition to presentations, an important exhibit will allow participants to see the latest products and technologies associated with this new field.
